Most places want you to buy everything they sell. what kind of business tries to NOT sell you something? They said I wont need it with the 3 part. I emailed them once and they talked me out of buying calmag. I dont think they're in it for the money. Maybe that's why they can sell it for so cheap, they keep costs down by relying on word of mouth. Come to think of it, I've never seen any advertisements for it and its not in any stores I've been to. I have no idea why BPN isn't more popular. My buddy used the VitaBlue B vitamins on his plants and within few days was all all excited "It's like they're growing in front of my eyes, maaaan." hahaa. You ever tried their high yield set up? I think I might buy that on my next go around. All my friends who grow use BPN and we all have killer harvests. I'm using the 3-part Elite series like you and the only additive I use is the Liquid Blue bloom booster during flowering. Supposedly its even better than before and not nearly as stinky. Its way easier to use and the reviews on it are pretty good. I guess about a year ago or so they changed it so now its down to 3 parts in gallons for like 55 bucks or something. See our 2023 brand rating for Blue Planet Nutrients and analysis of 1421 Blue Planet Nutrients Reviews for 13 Products in Garden Soil and Fertilizers. Oh, you're using the older Farmer's Pride line. I dont know how more people arent running BPN Good products, good customer service, and good results for an ever better price. The additives alone, from another company, would run almost 80 bucks. With most nute companies you cant even get a gallon of veg and a gallon of bloom for that. i got my farmers pride 7 pack for 80 after shipping. chelated/non-chelatedĭefinitely a good buy. It might have something to do with which forms of n-p-k are in the organic vs the synth and how long the different forms of each take to be broken down/ accepted by the bacteria/roots in the root zone. Im just used to being able to slightly over do it with the organic. So far the only thing i see is that the synth tends to show signs of def/tox a little faster (probably since i use promix). Ive just recently switched over to there synthetic line to see the difference. Just finished that off about a month ago.Īnd on top of all that they give you a nice jar of inoculant (inoculum?) for your soil. Then last additive is K-bud and thats just a 7% K bottle. I still use the soil activator at the beginning of veg and the beginning of flowering just to help any left over nutes in the soil come out. They give you all of those additives but you really only use them once or twice a month and last FOREVER. I also want to tell you I have nothing to do with this company and I pay for shipping like anyone else that does.Agreed!!! i ran the farmers pride for about 2 years and was never disappointed. Well with that said, I am willing to say I will not use any other line of nutrients unless they go out of business or increase the price. Although I have heard of people mixing the other bloomers and additives from other nutrient lines but I think it comes down to someone wanting to think they know what is best for their plants and not knowing what is in the product line already. I have used multiple nutrient lines over the last 15+ years of growing and have not found a nutrient line that will give me huge buds with only 6 bottles. Cannabis thrives in slightly acidic soil at 6.8 you are leaning towards a neutral of 7.0. But at 6.8 your locking out vital nutes at this level. Sometimes even 6.5 will work well, strain dependent. I have been growing for over 15 years and I can say I have not had a better product line. In addition your not in a perfect range for soil. The customer service is top notch if I have not made my point yet. Although when using this product I would suggest you leave out the liquid seaweed due to smell if running in DWC or Hydroponics. I can give you at least 15 to 20 of my friends that have switched to this line due to the cost and how good the line actually works. The owner is a Chemist and him and another guy started the company. He will give you his personal number if you are having any problems. Another reason I love this company is I can call the owner and get answers anytime. Other than being concentrated, I have to say “I love this product”. I have heard other friends that use Coco and Promix HP are also using the nutrients at 1/4 strength. One of the reasons I like this line of nutrients is I can run it at 1/4 strength so this saves you a lot of money. At this time I am running a deep water undercurrent watering system. It works great in Coco, Promix HP, and also great in hydroponics. I have ran the Farmers Pride version also. I have been running this companies nutrients for over a year and a half now. I use the 3 Part High Yield Kit of Blue Planet Nutrients.
